Chinese Bbq Pork Wrap
~ Mary ~
Chinese version of barbecue done in a crock pot. A great and easy way to have some Asian flavored pork for dinner.
Chinese Bbq Pork Wrap
Combine in the bottom of crock pot and mix well:
¼ Cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
¼ Cup Hoisin Sauce
¼ Cup Rice Wine Vinegar
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
½ tsp Chinese Five Spice powder
2 Tbsp Corn Starch
3 Tbsp Honey
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Minced Ginger
1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
Place on top:
2 pound Pork Roast
Place on low and cook for 7-8 hours.
Remove and shred with two forks. If it’s too difficult to shred, the pork has not cooked long enough. Put it back in the pot and place on high until tender.
After pork is shredded place back in pot and mix with sauce.
Serve on
Flour Tortillas
with jasmine Rice.
My husband doesn’t usually like sweet with meat, but this looks amazing! If nothing else, I know my SIL will eat it, and I make her lunches for the week. 😀
