Cubana Burger

A beautiful medley of flavors, this unique burger has been the hit of many summer bbqs!  Don’t pass it up.
Cubana Burger
another great burger from Sutter Home’s Build a Better Burger
Make Sauce by mixing together:
1/3 Cup Diced Red Onion
2 Tbsp Lime Juice
2 tbsp Chopped Cilantro
¼ Cup Lite Mayo
1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
Refrigerate until ready to use.
To make burgers combine:
2 Cups Smoked Minced Ham – use a cuisinart to mince ham
½ Cup Black Beans
1 Tbsp minced Garlic
2 Tbsp Diced Chipotle Chilies and Sauce
1 tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Cumin
2 pounds Ground Pork
Mix well with your hands.
Divide into 6 equal parts and make into patties.
Pan fry or grill until internal temperature is 165°.
About 7-9 minutes on each side.
Serve on bun topped with sauce.

    That sounds so delicious – never would have thought to mince ham into a burger – love it! Hope you are having a great summer Mary!
