Confluence
~ Mary ~
.
I made this quite some time ago. You’d have to check for the exact date on FaceBook, that’s where I first posted it. Sometimes I hoard posts for those lazy/busy/vacation/life weeks that I know I won’t be able to get to you. Then I unleash the splendor. Sometimes it takes so long for me to get to the posts that by the time they show up here, I’m ready to make them again. Lucky me!
.
.
What is all this splendor I speak of? John’s word for it is confluence.
.
.
It’s a confluence of some great summer recipes we’ve had here to make one mighty delicious sandwich and display. And the great thing, these recipes were pretty basic. In fact, some were down right EASY!
.
First off there was this grilled onion sandwich. YUM
.
Then there were these Honey Gremolata Chops that were sliced horizontally in half and served with an extra side of the Gremolata.
.
And finally the grilled Scamorza. Now off with you! Go make something delicious!
Beautiful! Love the display.
I like that confluence. Is there a recipe for confluence :–)
Wow… that is a beautiful sandwich. Is top 9 material. LOL
Wow, that’s quite a spread! I’d gobble up the scamorza first thing, then attack the chops…
How gorgeous!
That Scamorzo looks amazing. I have never cooked it before, I have done that to Halloumi though. I am sooo hungry. I want a bite.
Awesome photos and food looks delicious
Confluence is a perfect word, as is gorgeous. Delightful works too!
Well, gee I would love to go off and make something splendid…. uhhh recipes? (Hint… not so gentle nudge, big HINT) Picture-summer-perfect.
