Strawberry Panic!
~ Mary ~
.
If you follow on Facebook you already know that a couple of weeks ago my weekend plans were derailed….
…by this truck. I honestly don’t know how it happened. I’d passed it multiple times in the previous weeks without a problem. But on this particular day I parked across the street to make a quick liquor store run. Somehow I crossed the street. I didn’t need to, but I did. Poor dumb girl!

This was the loot I came home with for the big price of $15! I’m not sure if all of you know this, but it’s JUST John and I in this household! He called it Urban Farming and that I better get to thinking about strawberries the way Bubba thought about shrimp. That was me, the Bubba Gump of strawberries thinking of EVERYthing I could Make : Strawberry Smoothies, Savory Strawberry Pizza, Strawberry Shortcake, Strawberry Butter Cake, Strawberry Pudding, Strawberries and Cream, Strawberries on Fruit Pizza, Strawberries in the Oatmeal….

so fresh and delicious!
Panic is definitely the mother of innovation! The salad looks great and is perfect for summer!
Great salad to use up all those strawberries! I did something similar when local strawberries were in season, so we had strawberry jam, strawberry tart and lots of strawberries in the freezer!
Hehe you are so funny 🙂 What a bargain and how lucky of you. Great salad recipe, sounds & looks scrumptious!
That salad is a perfect use of fresh strawberries! I can’t believe you got so much fruit for so little money. Freeze what you can’t use. It’ll be nice to bring out almost fresh fruit in the winter.
Those are just toasted sesame seeds? Black ones? They are a beautiful contrast to the luscious berries. Yum!
All of that for $15?! Wow! You certainly came up with a beautiful, tasty salad.
Summer is amazing, isn’t it?!!! So many beautiful colors and amazing flavors. Great recipes!
love strawberries too and this is a great salad, sorry I missed it earlier, just now catching up…
Such a refreshing salad!
Great photos! So summery!
