Roatan Rum Punch
~ Katy ~
Aaaaaaaah, nothing like the tropics to cure the February blues. Everything here in Roatan moves slowly and languidly as the warm, humid days drift into one another. A little cocktail now and then is also called for, and if you have more than two, say ten or so, that’s okay, too. Because it was a rainy day yesterday, we went ahead and had several. I personally kept going because I didn’t want the juice to go bad. It’s just the kind of person I am.
Roatan Rum Punch
Dark rum (we use Bacardi Oro and/or Bacardi Select)
Fresh pineapple juice
Fresh orange juice
Fresh grapefruit juice
Any other fresh juices you want to add
Mix well, drink much!
Meet you on the dock 😉
Love the photo… Reminds of the rum party we held. Coastguard friend returned from Cuba with way too many bottles of rum, some flavored ones too. We did mix a bowl of Rum Punch, same recipe, different rum. Whoa, what a weekend!
Gorgeous photos! I haven’t had rum in a long time, but I may have to change that… 😉
I want to go! 😉
I want to be there. Drinking that. Right now.
I want and need a glass of this! YUM!
Wishing myself into the photo… really, really hard…but I will settle for that fruity cocktail!
Amazing how sharp those pictures are….soothing to the eyes and would love the drink~ awesome post`
Wow, even with the alcohol in it, this drink looks so inviting…so tempting. I would love a virgin version of that, please! Lovely photos.
Oh, I need to chase away some winter blues! Wish I had a pitcher of these…
What a beautiful photo! It would look awesome on my kitchen wall! Love this drink. I have to try.
Well, this sounds rather perfect 🙂 I should be treating myself to a well deserved family holiday back in my homeland with LOTS AND LOADS of this lovely recipe 🙂
Your rum punch looks like the perfect antidote for another rainy day here in Oregon. 🙂
