Salmon ‘Burger’

Marc Samuelsson is my new hero. I’ve been cooking out of his cookbook “New American Table” quite a bit lately and every recipe has been stellar.
I started making this open faced sandwich last winter, and we just can’t seem to get enough of it. Beautiful ingredients prepared simply to make the most stunning and delectable dinner.
Open Faced Salmon Burger
Place in order on plate:
1 Slice Rye Bread - I made this one
Mixed Lettuce Greens
Tomato Slices
Broiled or Grilled Salmon
Thinly sliced Red Onion
Hard Boiled Egg quartered or sliced
2 tsp Capers
Avocado Slices – optional
Drizzle with dressing.
Dressing
Mix together with whisk
2Tbsp Dijon Mustard
1Tbsp Honey
Juice of 1 Lime
Kosher Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
