Bacon Wrapped Poppers

June 15, 2009

~ Mary ~

Bacon wrapped anything is delicious and these are no exception!  They were the appetizer for our Blues Fest BBQ – Big PIG post tomorrow!

This recipe comes from Ree’s kitchen - aka The Pioneer Woman –  if you don’t know her you should – the rest of us do.  These are her Bacon Wrapped Poppers and that’s all I need to say.

These poppers look amazing! My boyfriend loves bacon and would go crazy over these. I’ll definitely be trying them!

“Bacon wrapped anything is delicious and these are no exception!” lol! For my stepson’s b-day gathering, I made your bacon wrapped pork tenderloing, there was potato salad with bacon, broccoli salad with bacon and baked beans . .. with bacon! Our nieces boyfriend (in the army) said you know you are eating good when five of the meals have bacon!

I have seen these poppers on her sight – and wanted to try them. Still gotta try ‘em!

You should submit this to FBI since we are investigating The Pioneer Woman this month!

We just made these and they were delicious….Sean was smoking a pork butt so we threw them on the grill with that so they had a great smoky flavor….Fresh jalapenos from the market….yum!!!

Oh, yeah…I’ve made these several times for family gatherings in the last year or so and there are never any left. One of our all time favorites!

    Now this looks extremely interesting.
Poppers is a favorite, bacon will kick them up a notch.
