Another great recipe for your grill!  I adapted a recipe from the cook book and corresponding website Build a Better Burger.  You need to be sure to use a good ground beef and don’t go lean – 80/20 is what you’re looking for – you need the extra fat for a juicy burger.  I wonder if Kuma’s would make these!?

siciliano burger

Mix together:

          2Tbsp Minced Garlic

½ Cup Bread Crumbs

¼ Cup Pine Nuts

1 tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Italian Seasoning

1 tsp Rosemary

1 tsp Kosher Salt

½ tsp Black Pepper

2# 80/20 Angus Beef

Mix well and divide into 6 equal balls.

Make into patties.

You can cook these several ways: broiler, grill, oven or skillet.  Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes on each side. Serve topped with Sun Dried Tomato Butter on bun.

This burger sounds tasty. The cinnamon would add a nice touch of exotic.

      # is the sign for pound
80/20 is the ratio of meat to fat
so it means: two pounds of ground beef with 80 percent beef and 20 percent fat
